DFW artificial turf answers.
Planning information for new installations, existing-turf problems and estimate requests.
How do I request an estimate?
Complete the project form with your city, contact information, approximate size, current surface and goals. The request is forwarded to the current turf contact for review.
Who performs the work?
DFW Turf Estimates is an independent lead and information website, not the contractor. Any site visit, proposal, contract, warranty and work come from the responding provider.
How much does artificial turf cost in DFW?
Many straightforward residential projects are discussed in an approximate eight-to-fifteen-dollar per-square-foot planning range, but small, difficult and specialty projects can fall outside it.
Can I request help with existing artificial turf?
Yes. The form accepts repair, cleaning, deodorizing, pet odor, infill, drainage, replacement and removal requests in addition to new installations.
Is artificial turf good for dogs?
It can be, but pet projects should prioritize rapid drainage, secure edges, suitable infill and a realistic rinsing and cleanup routine.
Why does pet turf sometimes smell?
Odor can result from organic buildup, compacted or unsuitable infill, restricted drainage or contamination beneath the turf. Persistent problems should be assessed before choosing a treatment.
Does turf drain during heavy rain?
Permeable turf and a properly graded aggregate base can move water, but performance depends on the property grade, outlets, soil and the entire installed system.
Does artificial turf get hot?
Synthetic turf can become hot in direct Texas sun. Shade, product and infill selection, time of use and cooling with water can help manage surface temperature.
What should be included in an installation proposal?
Compare demolition, disposal, base material and depth, drainage assumptions, turf product, infill, edges, seams, schedule, warranty and exclusions.
Should I check with my HOA?
Yes. Front-yard design, visible materials and landscape changes may be regulated by an HOA or property rules. Confirm applicable requirements before authorizing work.
